Simon Höfele
Simon Höfele received his first trumpet lesson at the age of seven in his native city of Darmstadt, was accepted in the Karlsruhe Music High School when fourteen and selected for the European talent development schemes. He was nominated as an ECHO “Rising Star” by the Cologne Philharmonie, the Konzerthaus in Dortmund and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and made a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist in 2017. Simon teaches as a visiting artist at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and in various masterclasses.
Frank Dupree
Frank Dupree celebrates the breadth and depth of the piano repertoire. Winner of the 2018 Opus Klassick Award for Concerto Recording of the Year (2020/21) and also laureate prize winner of the 2014 Deutscher Musikwettbewerb when he captivated the judges with his musical maturity, refined technique and wide spectrum of sound and colour, he has a particular enthusiasm for 20th century music as well as living composers. He is a Steinway Artist and is established internationally as a concert pianist, both as a soloist and concerto performer.
