Glynde Estates Firewood Enterprise

We are pleased to announce that our bid for a LEADER grant has been successful to help fund the purchase of a new firewood processing machine. This scheme is managed by the Rural Payments Agency and funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

This grant has enabled us to buy a specialised high output machine that will enable our grounds team to increase supply and effciencies, add value to timber thinnings from around the estate and offer good quality locally sourced firewood to local residents.
