Emma Carlow, Jo Lamb and Isobel Smith have received imaginary funding from Fundamento dello Scherzo to continue their creative investigations of Slynde, a fictitious East Sussex village.
The three artists continue to respond to the remains of the lost village of Slynde, with support from imaginary funders The Fondamento dello Scherzo. Works include; a burial site, a banquet, a mummer's play, ancestral portraits and an anchorite's cell. All work is for sale.
Glynde Place will be open from 11-5pm for visitors to enjoy the exhibition and the event is free to visit.
This exhibition is part of the Artwave Festival which launches on 7th September until 22nd September showcasing work by artists at 164 venues across the Lewes District. Further information can be found at artwavefestival.org
